Based on 40 cases from the authors’ experience in China and Europe, this book is divided into nine chapters, each covering a different syndrome: cold, cough, dizziness, headache, insomnia, low back pain, bi syndrome, palpitations and wind stroke. Each case described is analyzed in depth and compared and contrasted with related cases in the chapter. This is a general discussion of each type of disorder, with many helpful diagrams to assist the reader in understanding the subject. The book is designed as an aid for the beginning practitioner making the transition from the classroom to the clinic, and as a useful tool for refining the clinical skills of more experienced acupuncturists.
