The ancient Taoist tradition of body feng shui (min xiang shue) uses the techniques from the more familiar art of placement (feng shui) to reveal the connection between inner character and external appearance. According to this ancient art, it is possible to recognize the personality of an individual from observing the facial features, hand shape, movements, and posture. Using these traditional observations of physical appearance can guide readers to positively transform attributes that affect happiness or misfortune, health or illness, wealth or poverty. Generously illustrated with more than 100 drawings, this work explores traditional Chinese concepts that link character and physical appearance.
