Trade paperback book | $12.95
The format is very similar to our previous book by Dr. Fan on pediatric massage.

BACKCOVER: Chinese self-massage is a safe, simple, and extremely effective therapy for both promoting health and remedying a number of diseases. It can be used as a part of one's total self-health regime or as an adjunct to other remedial treatments - whether Western or Eastern. In particular, Chinese self-massage is a great adjunct to acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, or qi gong.

In this book, Dr. Fan teaches a number of self-massage protocols for everything from beautifying the skin to treating diabetes and obesity. Men and women of all ages will find easy-to-do treatments for a wide variety of complaints.

Main Description

Renowned author Mantak Chia presents a handy reference for massage, "Chi Massage." Different from Western massage's focus on muscles, chi massage is about rejuvenating one's own internal organs as well as eyes, ears, nose, tongue, teeth, and skin. The exercises are easy to follow, can be done in any order, and although they are simple they provide a way of invigorating and strengthening parts of our body we had no idea needed attention. Following these exercises the reader is bound to feel benefits. Chia also offers an introductory explanation of Chi and how to improve it.
