Presented primarily for chiropractors but suitable for any holistic bodywork practitioner, this DVD presents the hands-on techniques of traditional gua sha for pain management. The author demonstrates how to apply gua sha to the back-shu and jiaji points as well as points on the lower extremities. By freeing energy blockages and treating the root causes, patients can experience release of pain and toxins as a result of bi syndrome or organ dysfunction. Symptoms including tingling, numbness, headache, eye pain, upper shoulder, arm, neck, and facial pain caused by conditions including neuromuscular pain and misalignment, sinew strain, joint pain, and referred pain are relieved using gua sha.
